Steve Thompson is a songwriter, producer and recording artist who continues to write and release original music through The Steve Thompson Band. Alongside his music, he shares the stories behind the songs, the recordings and his career through his podcast, YouTube channel and blog.
Earlier in his career, Steve wrote and produced influential recordings during the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, working with Raven, Venom and Tygers of Pan Tang. While those recordings remain an important part of his legacy, his focus today is on writing, recording and producing new music.
Steve also presents intimate live shows featuring entirely original material, combining songs with the stories behind their creation to give audiences a unique insight into the songwriting and recording process.
